When effort isn’t turning into progress.

You care.
You’re trying.Let’s get you unstuck.

Your team is working hard. Customers still hit the same roadblocks. Sales conversations stall. You keep pushing, but you’re not sure what will actually make a difference.

I’m John A. Bruder. I help you win business, rebuild customer trust, and get work moving when the same problems keep coming back. Sometimes that means rolling up my sleeves. Sometimes it means finding the right expertise and helping define the work.

Start with the problem

What keeps coming
back onto your desk?

You don’t need a perfect brief or the name of a service. Start with the situation you want to change.

01

Your customer is tired
of chasing you.

They’ve explained the problem three times. The implementation is stuck. Renewal is coming, and nobody wants to make the call. A relationship you worked hard to win is slipping.

I help get the conversation moving again, establish who owns the next step, and fix the handoffs and habits that keep putting the relationship at risk.

02

You’re doing the outreach.
Where are the conversations?

The list is long. The message sounds fine. The replies aren’t coming, or the opportunities keep going quiet. More activity is becoming the answer to everything.

I help identify who has a reason to care, connect your offer to their situation, and work the follow-through. That can mean research and messaging, hands-on prospecting, or help moving a real opportunity toward a decision.

03

If you stop pushing,
does everything stop?

Every exception lands with you. Meetings end without decisions. The same problem returns wearing a different name. You need capable help that actually takes something off your plate.

I help work out what is stuck and why, then put a practical plan and accountable people behind it. I can take on agreed work myself or help bring in the specialist the job needs.

A little about me
John A.
Bruder.
CONSULTANT. DAD. CREATIVE.
Based in Upton, Massachusetts. Working across distances.

I’ve made the promise.
And picked up the pieces.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked to understand what people need, earn their trust, and help a business deliver on its promises. I’ve done that from the sales floor, in training and support, and as a leader. Whether I was setting the direction or working within someone else’s, the customer’s experience stayed central.

I’ve seen how a missed expectation becomes a damaged relationship, how good people get stuck in a process, and how much can change when someone listens closely and takes responsibility for the next step. That experience travels across industries. Technology may be part of the answer; understanding the people and the problem comes first.

Life outside work has shaped that perspective just as much. Raising a family, making room for others, and being someone people can depend on have taught me that care takes patience, boundaries, and follow-through. Writing, music, and other creative work keep me curious and willing to try a different angle.

I bring all of that to Axinal: practical experience, attention to people, and the confidence to say, “I don’t know yet. Let me look into it.” Then I do the work to come back with a useful answer or help find the right person.

The Axinal approach

Solid fundamentals.
Eyes on what’s next.

01

Get the real picture.

I ask, listen, and look at the evidence. What has worked? What failed? Where do the customer, employee, and leadership accounts disagree?

02

Choose what matters.

I bring the fundamentals: understand the need, earn trust, set expectations, and follow through. We choose a priority and agree how to recognize progress.

03

Find the right answer.

If I don’t know, I’ll say so. I’ll research the question, test assumptions, or involve a specialist, then come back with what I found and what it means for your next decision.

04

Stay with the follow-through.

I turn the next step into agreed work: an owner, a date, and a way to check it. We review what changed and adjust when the evidence tells us to.

Care includes candor.

I’ll ask the uncomfortable question when it matters, including whether our own habits are part of the problem. I use AI every day and explore new tools where they can help. I check the output, explain the tradeoffs, and stay responsible for my recommendations. We agree who is involved and how findings are shared.

A clear place to begin

Let’s get something
off your plate.

Start with a complimentary 20-minute conversation. Tell me what is happening. I’ll tell you where I can help and what I need to understand first.

Every engagement begins with a written scope and fee agreement. The assessment covers one focused issue and up to four hours of total work. Advisory hours include meetings, preparation, reviews, and follow-up; response expectations are agreed in advance. Implementation, software, travel, and third-party delivery are priced separately when applicable. No purchase or payment is taken on this website.

Need hands-on sales or customer success support?

Execution support can include prospect research, outreach preparation, customer communication, renewal coordination, and process improvement. A starting arrangement is $3,000 per month for up to 20 hours of agreed work. We define responsibilities, systems access, communication, and measures of progress before starting. Sales and retention outcomes are not guaranteed.

Need development, automation, or specialist expertise?

I can help translate the business need into a brief and explore relevant developers, integration providers, AI specialists, or other professionals. You’ll know who contracts with whom, what each party owns, and how fees work. Any referral compensation or financial interest is disclosed before you decide. Providers are considered for the specific engagement, subject to fit and availability.

Could fractional leadership be the right fit?

Sometimes the gap is a leadership responsibility rather than a project. Fractional commercial or customer success leadership is scoped individually, with fees starting at $5,000 per month. Time commitment, decision authority, deliverables, and availability must be agreed before work begins.

Can we begin with coaching, a workshop, or an introduction?

Yes. We can scope an individual session, team workshop, or advisory project around a defined need. If a relevant introduction is the most useful next step, I’ll say so. An introduction does not guarantee a provider’s availability or a commercial result.

The meaning behind the name
Axinal.
A personal meaning, rooted in “axis.”

What holds you steady.
What helps you turn.

Through work, family, and the changes life brings, I’ve learned to look for both: the relationships and principles worth holding onto, and the moments when a different direction becomes possible.

In a complicated situation, there is often something everything turns on: a conversation that hasn’t happened, an expectation nobody clarified, a relationship that needs attention.

My work starts with finding it. Then helping you decide what to do next.

Start with what’s real

What do you wish
someone understood?

You can start there. Tell me a little about the business, what is getting in the way, and what you want to change.

“Here’s what keeps happening.
Can you help me think it through?”

First conversation: complimentary, about 20 minutes. We’ll agree on a time by email or phone.
